Hope in Action coordinates a cohort of community coalitions representing every prevention region of West Virginia. Participating coalitions develop community projects using proven prevention strategies, exchange resources, and enhance their expertise through statewide collaboration.

The C3 program provides two learning tracks, Foundations Track and Advancement Track, to support coalitions at different stages of development. The Foundations Track teaches core knowledge, shared language, and essential skills needed to launch and strengthen prevention efforts. The Advancement Track builds on this foundation, helping coalitions as they apply proven strategies and implement impactful community projects.  

The 2025 C3 cohort included Barbour, Berkeley, Calhoun, Jefferson, Lincoln, Mingo, Morgan, Nicholas, Summers, Tyler, and Wetzel counties, with graduation set for April 16, 2026. Check out their amazing projects here!
